ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND
DRUGS.
Operation
of a motor vehicle in the campground by an intoxicated
driver is strictly forbidden and illegal. We will bring in
the Law to enforce this. ILLEGAL DRUGS OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Any camper found providing alcohol to minors or
allowing minors to consume alcohol on his/her site shall be
subject to immediate eviction. Campers or guests that are
obviously intoxicated and argumentative or belligerent or
considered by management to be a nuisance may be asked to leave the
campground for a 24 hour period or longer as deemed
appropriate by the management. Transportation
shall be arranged at the cost of the offending party if none
is available. Please note that Town of Sutton by-laws
provide that no open containers of alcoholic beverages are
allowed on the campground main road, in the store, or on
Lake Manchaug whether driving,
walking or boating. (Open Container Law)

RATES
are based on 2
adults & up to 3 children under the age of 18 living at
home.

QUIET TIME
will be observed from 10:00 P.M. until 8:00 A.M. On
Friday and Saturday nights, quiet hour shall be extended to
11:00 P.M. for adults. Loud music, loud voices, and
activities that disturb other campers, must be refrained
from, during quiet hours. All children and teenagers must be
on their own sites by QUIET HOUR, (QUIET HOUR STRICTLY
ENFORCED)

PET POLICY.
Pet policy is listed on a separate sheet as an extension of
these Policies and Guidelines.

NO CUTTING ACROSS OTHERS CAMPERS’ SITES.
Respect other camper’s rights to his or her site, as you
would expect on your own site. This applies to adults and
children alike.

CAMPFIRES.
Wood fires ONLY!!
-
No Burning of Trash!
Campers who burn trash shall lose fire privileges. Fires
should not be left unattended at any time. Please build
small fires. Old fireplace ash must be deposited in
fireplace ash containers.

DO NOT DUMP FIREPLACE
ASH IN THE WOODS.
If you dump ashes in the woods and we must clean it up, your
account will be billed for clean-up costs.

REFUSE
must be deposited in P.A.Y.T. (Pay As You Throw) trash
bags which are available in the store or office. Full bags must be placed at
road edge of campsite at 6:00 PM promptly for pickup by our
staff. Large items must be taken home. See the director for
instructions on pick-up of bagged leaves.
Fireplace ash must be placed in metal ‘Fireplace Ash
Containers’ which are located near the lawn mower area.
Bring the container to your site, place ash in container and
leave it near the road edge for ‘no charge’ pickup by our
staff. Under no circumstance is fireplace ash to be
dumped in the woods.

NO FOUL LANGUAGE or unsatisfactory behavior will be tolerated. Unsatisfactory behavior
constitutes the cancellation of stay, without refund, and
camper or guest must leave campground.

CAUTION, No lifeguard on duty at the beach.
Swim at your own risk. Children under 14 years of age, or
children over 14 years of age that are not proficient
swimmers must be accompanied by an adult to go swimming.
Swim in designated swimming area only. NEVER SWIM ALONE. NO
SWIMMING after dark. (Insurance Regulation). No one allowed
at the beach area after quiet hour.

REST ROOMS OPEN 24 hours. Report all vandalism to the management at once. NO LOITERING
in or around rest rooms.

NO
MINI-BIKES,
dirt bikes, motor scooters allowed in the campground. We
allow golf carts operated by sober, licensed drivers only.
Roads, only maybe be used. Do not ride gold carts on walk
paths.

MESSAGES FOR CAMPERS
will be taken on phone (508)
476-2534. Emergency calls only will be delivered to site.
All other calls will be posted at the store.

PARENTS
are responsible for the actions and safety of their
children. Children shall at all
times be under the supervision of a responsible
adult.

MANAGEMENT
not responsible for damages to persons, trailers, cars,
equipment, personal loss,
loss of use of all or part of campsite, or injury cause by
others or by acts of God, or by neglect on behalf of the
injured party.

OUTSIDE REFRIGERATORS.
All refrigerators must be locked when un-attended.
Inoperable refrigerators must have doors removed.
Massachusetts State law provides for fines of up to one
thousand dollars per refrigerator.

SUBLETTING of
trailer or site is allowed only with written consent of the
management. Subletting is defined as letting others stay at
your trailer for a minimum of one month. See the office for
fee schedule. If you sublet, your tenants must register with
the office, pay the required fee and adhere to the Policies
and Guidelines of the campground. All guest, whether
subletting or not, must pay fees as required or pay cover
charges as listen on rate sheet.

DECKS. No decks
shall be constructed unless written plans are submitted to
management and approved in writing. Any decks constructed
without plans shall be immediately removed. No particle or
flake board is to be used for deck construction. It
deteriorated rapidly and is therefore un-safe. Decks must be
built in 4’ x 8’ sections and bolted together for ease of
disassembly. No wood is to be used for screen house framing
except for hand railing. NO WOOD OTHER THAN SEE-THROUGH RAILINGS IS ALLOWED
ABOVE FLOOR LEVEL. Manufactured screen houses only are
allowed. Removable privacy panels are allowed in screen
houses. These regulations are necessary to con-form to local
building codes. It is also to improve the appearance of the
camp-ground. We cannot be held responsible for decks if they
must be removed ad damages in the process to facilitate
access to plumbing and electrical lines that are buried.

NO ILLEGAL FIREWORKS
shall be exploded or used in King’s Family Campground at any
time.

COMPLIANCE
WITH LAWS.
All campers must comply with all laws, health regulations,
and ordinances.

SITES
are rented
to campers for camping only. Any other use is strictly
prohibited.

BOAT & DOCK REGULATIONS.
Boat & dock regulations are listed on a separate sheet as an
extension of these Policies and Guidelines. No powerboats or
boat trailers shall be kept on campsite during the camping
season. See management for off site boat trailer storage
arrangements.

CAMPERS
AGREE
to abide by and comply with King's campground payment
schedule. Any deviations to the schedule shall be
approved in writing. Failure to comply shall constitute
a breach of agreement, subject the camper to losing
his/her site and giving management the right to remove
camper’s trailer and all personal property from the site
and place in storage on or off the premises of King’s
Family Campground. Camper shall be responsible for
storage fee and towing/ moving costs. Abandoned trailers
and personal property shall be disposed of according to
the terms of our Departure Policy, which is avail-able
at the office. Acceptance of our Policies & Guidelines
constitutes acceptance of our Departure Policy
and its terms and conditions. Trailers and personal property
shall be considered abandoned if unclaimed for 30 days.

DEPOSITS
and
payments of site fee are considered earned and are nonrefundable
according to Massachusetts Law.

SELLING OF TRAILER OR CANCELLING STAY.
When selling trailer on-site after paying site fee,
camper is responsible to recover site fee from buyer. No
refund given. When selling trailer out of campground or
cancelling stay after paying site fee, any refund given
by the management shall be strictly voluntary on behalf
of the management and shall be solely at the discretion
of the management as to when and amount
refunded. Under no circumstances shall initial deposit be
refunded. It should be assumed that no additional refund
shall be given. Campers that permanently vacate their
campsites must leave sites natural, in accordance to our
Departure Policy, a separate outline available in the
office.

MANAGEMENT
reserves the right to require any camper's) to leave the
premises with or without a cause. No estate or tenancy is
created by camper’s payment of any fee. Management reserves
the right to disconnect services and/or remove evicted
camper’s trailer and personal property from campsite, and
move same to storage to limit financial and other damages to
King’s Family Campground.

NEATNESS. Campers
must maintain clean and neat campsites, including cutting of
grass, of which we shall be the sole judge. If any camper
refuses to keep their campsite clean and neat, we shall
clean or trim it and camper shall be obligated to pay
cleanup costs at $25/hr. and refuse disposal costs.

CAMPERS AGREE to
abide by and comply with the Policies & Guidelines of King’s
Family Campground. Campers shall accept responsibility for
actions of their guests including paying unpaid cover
charges. At the discretion of the management, attempts may
be made to give adequate warnings to correct violations
prior to evictions, however, any violation that jeopardizes
the safety of the staff of King’s Family Campground or other
campers or causes property damage to us or others is more
serious and shall bear no warning. If deemed appropriate by
the management, CAMPER will be asked to leave and CAMPER
will leave voluntarily removing all personal property at
that time. No refund shall be given. Extension of time may
be given at the discretion of the management. Thank you.
