About Us How
it all started
Our founder R. Gordon "Bunky" King set the stage in
motion in 1959 with one camp site located on the beautiful
Lake Manchaug and the rest is history.

possible but, still well within a reasonable price range.

Your Hosts
From 1984 to 2008 the campground was
owned by the Boutiette family until it was sold in November
of 2008.

opportunity to introduce ourselves. Our names are Lester and Halina Szawlowski, very
successful owners of a jewelry
business since 1996.
We relaxed and enjoyed our time camping
in the new England area for over 20 years. As we recently
began our search for a campground to settle into, we were
encouraged to visit King's Campground by fellow
campers. We immediately fell in love with the friendly
atmosphere of the campground and were captivated by the
serenity of the sunset over the lake. The near perfect
surroundings made us feel at home.
At this point, we decided
to make our dream come true by making an offer to purchase
the grounds and are now the proud OWNERS of King's Family
Campground.

Us
We are staffed with courteous employees
that help maintain our 100 site campground. We offer a
general store, swimming, boating, fishing, pretty much
anything that makes good family fun.
So why travel to Maine
or New Hampshire, when King's Campground can provide the best
in family camping right here in Massachusetts? Whether you are a
weekend camper or commute to work from your camper, we are
conveniently located one hour from Boston, 35 minutes from
Providence RI, and 20 minutes from Worcester MA, with all
major highways nearby.
